An indicator lock keep, also known as a strike plate or latch plate, is a component that is used in conjunction with an indicator lock to securely close and latch a door. It is typically installed on the door frame or adjacent surface, and the lock’s latch or bolt engages with the keep to hold the door in place when locked.

Here are some key features that are typically associated with indicator lock keeps:

  1. Compatibility: Indicator lock keeps are designed to work specifically with a corresponding indicator lock model. In this case, it would be the IDL52L Lock in a Polished Stainless Steel finish.
  2. Durable Construction: Indicator lock keeps are typically constructed with durable materials such as stainless steel to ensure longevity and resistance to wear and tear.
  3. Polished Stainless Steel Finish: A “Polished Stainless Steel” finish refers to a glossy, reflective finish applied to stainless steel. It provides a sleek and modern look while also offering corrosion resistance and easy maintenance.
  4. Secure Latching: The indicator lock keep is designed to provide a secure latching point for the lock’s latch or bolt. When the door is closed and locked, the latch or bolt engages with the keep to hold the door firmly in place.
  5. Installation: Indicator lock keeps are typically installed using screws or other suitable hardware. They are designed to be easily installed and aligned with the lock mechanism for proper operation.
  6. Suitable for Commercial and Public Spaces: Indicator lock keeps are commonly used in commercial buildings, offices, restaurants, hotels, and public facilities to provide secure locking and privacy to users.

Edge Polishing

BuyGlass.Co pride ourselves on creating a beautiful end product. With edge polishing there are a few things to consider before you purchase & when evaluating the glass you receive.

Depending on the process used, the edge finish can vary slightly between panels. All BuyGlass.Co edge polishing is finished to an exceptional standard and fully QC'd before release.

If you require a uniform finish across all pieces then please contact us after the order is placed.

Otherwise we will process the polishing using whichever process we choose, and although generally this would mean all glass uses the same polishing technique there are certain times when we may use various methods.

Glass Corners

Corners are supplied, as standard, with dubbed corner. If you require unfinished or radius corner please let us know.

Laminated Glass

We use multiple methods for creating laminated glass. CIP, SGP, PVB & EVA are totally different processes which produce very similar results. CIP however, due to the injection process, has a faint area at the perimeter which can be seen upon closer inspection.

If you would prefer any particular method then you must let us know prior to production or else, at our discretion, we will use any method.
