Start with the application

Some fully or perimeter-supported rattan coffee tables use 6mm. Around and above 1m², 8–10mm may be discussed; larger pieces may prompt 12mm. These are enquiry starting points, not a load assessment.

Useful things to tell the supplier

• Panel dimensions and expected use?
• Continuous support or separate support points?
• Support span, frame and expected loads?

Simple or Advanced?

Start simple if you do not know the specification. Advanced mode lets you describe a shared specification and add several panel sizes and quantities in one set.
